Dr Rebecca Oluwayemisi Adeyeye is the cofounder and CEO of Lifefount Hospital a leading hospital in cancer care, surgery and endoscopy. She has postgraduate certification in Leadership and management from University of Washington USA. Yemisi Adeyeye is very passionate about promoting entrepreneurship and health education. She cofound Lifefount Foundation to run social impact projects that includes business trainings, peer to peer business funding and the school social impact project on emotional intelligence, genotype education and prevention of sexual and drugs abuse that has so far reached 35 trainers who have trained 3,086 in 13 secondary schools in different communities of Kwara state. Lifefount cancer awareness and screening project has given clinical breast examination, mammography and ultrasound to 1500 women in two states in Nigeria in the past three years.
Yemisi is an alumnae of Academy for women entrepreneurs and a fellow of the institute of management consultants. Yemisi has so far utilised the AWE curriculum to train 1,154 youths and female business owners through online and physical platforms. She recently authored her maiden book ‘Entrepreneurship is a beautiful thing’ a business guide for aspiring and seasoned business owners seeking business management skills. Yemisi has won several awards and scholarships including Tony Elumelu entrepreneurship program, Cherie Blair Foundation Business women program, Road to growth and World bank women X scholarships. She is a brand ambassador for Tony Elumelu Foundation and Her Venture app of Cherie Blair foundation and ExxonMobil.
She is married to Ademola Adeyeye a surgeon, and blessed with two adorable children.
